I don't get the concept. Your last for players are chosen by another owner, but what are the constraints? Are you trying to waste 4 roster spots while reducing each other's effective payroll? But some of the choices I've seen here don't seem to follow that strategy (e.g., koji uehara, babe Ruth)

Okay Koji Uehara is a 4.7 million closer who may or may not be effective and reduces the ability to field a quality Pitching staff at other Relief pitcher positions or may reduce your ability to use other more effective years of a player on your roster. The same goes with 1918 Ruth or the 1953 Ted Williams --- though they may appear to be quality selections to the naked eye -- it forces you to spend dollars on platoon players -- instead of spending money on say a better option like a 9 million dollar outfielder. I hope this helps clarify things for you.You are trying to waste 4 roster spots ( and as close to 20 million in payroll, as you can.) I will sitemail you my roster as an example.
