Kinda embarrassing to say now, but I thought the Bengals were better than the Pats going into the postseason.  I was surprised at the outcome of the Chargers game, and was very impressed by the Pats performance last weekend.  So yea, these are easily the best 4 teams left.

well considering they had the 4 best records in the league (along with Carolina) and San Fran beat Carolina on the road, I think anyone would be hard pressed to say they weren't the 4 best teams in the league.

I'm not sure "best record" means a whole lot.    KC, had they played their starters in game 16, could have tied with NE for 2nd best and I don't think anyone believed they had a shot in hell of winning a playoff game.

I picked Pats-49ers also, but I'm worried about taking 2 road teams. My gut reaction was really 49ers- Broncos, but what the hay? Should be fun.

i think the the panthers are better than the pats without gronk but so 4 out of the 5 best in the league but definitily the 2 best from each conference
