Demand for stuff. Demand for services. Demand for expensive dinners and $.99 downloads. Demand for everything.

I'm pretty sure there are people all across the world demanding food.  I'm not sure they're getting it.

Look buddy…I gotta go to bed.  The alarm goes off at 4:00 in the morning.  Somebody has to keep their job and pay taxes.

Let us know how it all works.  Tomorrow.  I'll read it tomorrow.

We'll all sleep better after we hear from you and understand how increasing demand morphs with marginal utility.

Love ya!

Demand doesn't exist without money.

So when "demand" occurs, jobs magically appear?
6/23/2014 10:40 PM
Essentially, yes. But it's not magic, just basic economics.

Has any posted anything noteworthy on this thread since my post 60 or so pages ago? I imagine there's people debating dictionary terminology and taking people's words ridiculously out of context in order to beat up strawmen.

Has BL ever explained how he's fine with certain income levels not paying taxes despite claiming that paying taxes is "part of deal" that comes with living in America?

I'm sure he hasn't but thought I'd ask anyway.

Factories suddenly appear out of thin air to manufacture the demanded product?  Businesses suddenly appear in previously empty office buildings to supply the demanded service?

"POOF!".  Just like that?

Is that what they teach in Economics 101 at Retardville U?

No, he hasn't.  I think the last time you asked the question, he avoided answering it by calling you a ******* INTERNET FORUM STALKER, or something like that.

That hurts coming for a guy who specifically created a username to argue on the internet.

Is that a serious question? I'll assume it isn't.

This should read "That hurts coming for a guy who specifically created a username to argue social issues on an internet simsports site."

It is a serious question.

"Demand" is not the only thing that creates jobs.  There are other factors involved.

6/24/2014 10:30 AM
Sure.

Demand is a necessary first, though.
