I  am posting my favorites from when I was a kid it is completely different from my favorites now.

My family was on vacation in 1968 in San Francisco and attended a Saturday game between the A's and the Washington Senators.  Charlie Finley owned the A's back then and was into gimmicks.  The game we attended was "Hot Pants Day".   Ladies in hot pants got free bleacher seats and got to parade around the Oakland Coliseum's ample foul territory giving an all new meaning to the "7th inning stretch".  I remember that even though I just turned 14.  I also remember that Frank Howard was a very, very big man.

I grew up and still live in Arkansas, but am a White Sox fan thanks to WGN, Frank Thomas, and Hawk Harrelson. However, on a trip to visit my aunt in California, she took me to Angel Stadium to see the Angels and Brewers back in 1992, so I got to see Robin Yount play. 4 days later, we were in the Bay Area and I got to see Oakland host the Angels on Turn Back the Clock Day. Jose Canseco got the game winning hit, 15 days before he was traded to Texas. The Angels wore the helmets with the little halo on top. It was pretty sweet seeing Canseco, McGwire, Rickey Henderson, Eckersley, etc.
