Inside look at  Hardball Dynasty – Fantasy Baseball Sim Games - New Britain Noblemen Franchise ProfileTAKEN

After 13 straight seasons of playoff baseball, New Britain spent 3 seasons rebuilding until returning to the playoffs in season 26. This last year, New Britain took a few small steps backwards and missed the playoffs despite 88 wins. New Britain is the tale of two halves. The pitching half is dominate giving up the 2nd fewest runs in the AL while on their other half (offense), suffered, scoring the 2nd fewest runs. If you are an offensive guru, this could be just the type of team you are looking for as their pitching will be very strong for many seasons to come.

Oklahoma City is a powerhouse in the league. It has made the playoffs seven straight seasons, winning the world series twice (with a chance to take third this season). The owner for the team went MIA from the site this season and a new owner took over as an in season replacement. OKC has a very strong offense (1st in BA, 4th in runs, top 5 in 2b, 3b and HRs) and pitching (best WHIP, 3rd in runs allowed). This team is geared up and ready to continue its post season runs.

Over the last 4 seasons, Jackson has reached the postseason each time (winning 3 division titles along the way). Jackson is in a great position to continue its newfound tradition (more postseasons in the last 4 seasons than in the prior 23 seasons).  Will you be the first owner to take Jackson all the way to a championship? Jackson is all about power, leading the AL in HRs and having one of the top overall offenses in the league.  Jackson has an opportunity to shore up its pitching and defense which sits in the bottom half of the AL.  This team is brimming with young talent at the major league level.

Inside look at   Hardball Dynasty – Fantasy Baseball Sim Games - Houston Heroes Franchise ProfileTAKEN

After 5 straight post season appearances (4 division titles), Houston has struggled the last two seasons, going under .500 for two consecutive seasons for the first time since season 16.  Houston has a strong core of ML players and a number of up and comers that are ready for their big league debut. Houston had the 2nd best fielders defensively in the AL but was mediocre in batting and pitching. They did lead one offensive category but not sure how much skill there is in HBP. The team has a strong nucleus and is positioned to jump back into the playoff hunt behind one of the highest rated young ML players in the game (Jose Barajas). Are you ready for the challenge?

Tucson has been an absolute powerhouse over the last 6 years, reaching the postseason each time (4 division titles), including a trip to the World Series in season 26. Clearly a very balanced team offensively and defensively landing in the top 5 in runs scored and runs allowed.  Tuscon loves hitting triples (1st in league) and the art of the stolen base (3rd) and only behind division rival Houston for the top spot in the coveted HBP category.  This team shows signs of a long, dynasty like run of postseason appearances.  Will you help them get their first ring?

Inside look at  Las Vegas TAKEN

Las Vegas made the playoffs in 2/3 of the seasons through 21 years but has hit rough times over the last 6.  While they have struggled in the majors, the team has been loading up its farm system with talent that will serve as the basis for a great turnaround for the team. Las Vegas' pitching and fielding were right at the AL average but the offense was one of the worst in the bigs.  Will you be the owner to turn a strong farm into a team that can celebrate at the big dance?

New York took a large step backwards winning only 69 games after two straight seasons of .500 or better ball.  New York continued to be in the top half of runs scored in the NL thanks to their walk and bomb mentality (lead NL in HRs, 5th in walks, 2nd in HBP). The root cause of NY's slide was its pitching. In the prior season, NY was in the middle of the pack for runs allowed but finished with the 3rd worst runs allowed in the NL this season.  NY has young talent (both at the ML level and in the minors) and a ton of salary cap space to work with (only approx. $26M in committed salary). Couple this with the 8th pick in the draft and they are ripe to bounce back into the playoff hunt this season. Are you ready to take them there?

After many years of rebuilding, Salt Lake now fields an extremely strong major league team and has made the playoffs in each of the last 4 seasons and is poised to make it 5 years in a row.  Salt Lake uses its potent offense to win its games (3rd in runs scored, 2nd in stolen bases). They are not only fast but smart on the paths having the highest stolen base success rate for a team in the NL.  On the flip side, their pitching leaves a lot to be desired (4th worst in runs scored).  This team is loaded at the ML level. If you are looking for a team that can win now and over the next few years, this is a team for you.

Inside look at  Hardball Dynasty –  Hardball Dynasty – Charlotte TAKEN

After a world series appearance in season 24, followed by another playoff berth the following season, Charlotte has struggled the last two seasons.  Despite above good power (3rd in triples and 7th in home runs) and a ton of speed (1st in stolen bases), the Charlotte offense finished 5th worst in runs scored but some of this may be attributed to new ownership style as the prior season, the team finished 8th in runs scored. The place of primary struggle was pitching. Charlotte finished dead last in ERA, increased that stat by over half a run from the prior season, some of this could be attributed to fielding that finished 3rd from the bottom, compared to 9th in the prior season.  All of this points to an opportunity for a quick turn around. The team has the 2nd draft pick, a couple key prospects ready for their big league debut and only $45M in committed salary for season 28, which translates to a lot of flexibility to right the ship and have a fast turnaround.
