Forget the lottery just go by record.

it's ok, dh... not a problem. in the future, wear your bifocals. haha.

i also concur with leib... just go with record. so much easier than the other system. as far as tiebreakers go, hopefully owners will submit their records quickly. i had a 41-41 record, same as penn... but i went 5-3 against him.

I was a pretty big beneficiary of the lotto, but I think this season should be by record.

I'm all for going by recored as long as I don't get screwed out of the 9th pick in the first round. Hey, just turned 50 last Tuesday so if you expect me to be nice well. . . to &^&$ with that lol. 

But get it done soon as our old league will disappear quickly and so will the team records etc. I am a crotchy old man too so hurry it up. I'll be out of cell phone range from Friday through Monday next week and it will really break my heart if I end up holding up the draft as other unamed owners have time and time again. 

So going by record is the following list accurate? If that is right can we start over. I just plugged in the bottom 9 teams by record. I believe the the ony fair way to resolve this is to start over, delete the lottery results altogether, and go by worst record first.

I think this is the final selection order.

It's not about getting rid of the lottery sly. It's about fixing a mistake in the most fair way possible and then moving on with the draft in a timely manner.

Okay, my bad. I misread the posts above as trying to permanently do away with the lotto.

My thoughts on the subject: people get shafted regardless of the decision. Think about this: as of now, it looks like scud could pick 8th. We go by record, he picks 11th. Screwing scud twice is not the answer. Let's get our draft on as-is and not make things more difficult than necessary.

lol... it's ok, sly. was an honest mistake by dh... either way, life is good. in favor of getting this train rolling the easiest way possible.

If we go by record than scud will still pick 8th I believe. mikee1 and iccoachb chose to draft closer to 24 so that moved scud and I up 2 places as we wanted to go closer to 1. scud beat penn's team with the same record 5 to 3 meaning that penn picks ahead of scud as he also chose closer to one.

Now that I am older and wiser let's just forgive dh555's honest mistake and move forward without any more delays.

This is a bit of a buzzkill, but not big deal. DH whatever you decide to do is ok with me.

The primary purpose of lotto is to prevent tanking. Since that is not the issue here, a one time use of record would seem to be the easier way of doing this and would best reflect proper positioning. I would go with record.
