Dublinuf is officially eliminated.  3 guys getting zero hits and your tacklers not doing much was the downfall.

Knew I was screwed when I had hitters, but I missed a deadline and I deserved that. Daughter had fun at Rock The Universe. So all is well.

For the record, I intend to run a Big Brother with Battle of the Block included when this is over.

CHALLENGE:

This challenge will be a little bit different.  This will be an individual challenge with no kill picks.  

On Friday and Saturday there are 18 Top 25 college football teams playing.

You will need to pick:
6 Quarterbacks
6 Running Backs
6 Wide Receivers

The goal is to have the most total yards from you group of 18 players.
You can only pick one player from each top 25 team.

The top 3 players will be safe.
The bottom 3 players will go onto the elimination challenge.
The middle 5 players are up for voting by the top 3 players.

The bottom 3 players and the voted player will compete in a double elimination challenge.

For the elimination challenge, the 4 players will be split into 2 head to head matchups, with the loser of each matchup being eliminated.  The winner of the original college football challenge will have the added advantage of deciding those 2 head to head matchups.

Picks are due by Friday at 8pm EST

Tiebreakers:
1) Points scored by Oregon
2) Number of TDs thrown by SEC players
3) Order received

Good question. I went by the list on ESPN schedule here, http://espn.go.com/college-football/schedule, which appears to be the AP list. Hope that's right?

These are the teams I used.

Sorry, just got a chance to read the board.  I went with the ESPN schedule page, so the ones steve listed are correct.

I did get all the entries before the deadline, however, few people gave me wrong entries, although none were because of the AP/Coaches issue.

6 players gave me correct lists
1 player only gave me last names, no schools.  I guessed on most, but waiting for clarificiation on a couple
1 player gave me Army instead of South Carolina, not sure about that one
1 player gave me 2 USCs and no UCLA
1 player gave me Auburn, BYU, Wisconsin, FSU, MSU instead of ND, Stanford, VT, Louis, Ohio St
1 player gave me Clemson and FSU instead of Stan and VT

Since none involved Baylor who is playing tonight, I'm giving them all until 10am to give me correct picks or their entries will stand as is.

Also, regardless of who those people pick to replace their players, no one will have the exact same lineup, which I'm a little surprised by.

When I help host these games, I always hope everyone sends in a correct entry, so the challenge is "fair".  But as a player, I kinda wish those peeps woulda been punished for screwing their entries up...ah well.

On a side note, I think I'm glad I took Cannon over Petty for Baylor.  WR yds seem the most random in this challenge.

KD Cannon is my homey.

Dang, I was hoping I was the only one who took Cannon. Guess not.
