It's the sim goggles factor, baby.  I have my own unreasonable crushes that are unsupported by experience.  I think Lucas belongs in this league, but he's solid value in the third and a steal in the fourth.  I don't think I'd take him in the second due to his low (for this league) defense.

Ask tar about Lucas. My first draft league on WIS I made the ODL finals and tar crushed me because I had no answer for Lucas (he had 20 or so boards at least three times in that series). So in the next ODL I took Lucas in the FIRST round and made the finals with him. Lucas is on a very short list of players that will almost always outperform his RL stats in the sim. The 50D is a drag, but is worth the trade off and easy to overcome since Lucas adds a ton of balance to a squad.
