there are a few halfway decent coaches in that bracket.  group of death i guess

Occidential will be interesting to watch.  They clobbered Louisiana… Occidential has to be one of the best #5 seeds in awhile.

And then Grove City also looks quite strong.  

I agree, Piedmont will fall.  Trinity has a solid club and took them to the wire in round one.  I think someone will stop them.

Interesting season to see almost 50% of chances of winning it all between two teams. Seems like more than in the past….

Just looked at last years numbers - Menlo was 34% favorite to win it all (and did obviously).  Only one other team was in double digit percentage to win it all last season. 

Happy to see one of my players win POY for the first time...too bad he got hurt in the first round and only played 3 min!   I can't complain too much since that's only the second injury I've seen in 37 HD seasons but when they happen, it sucks.  

Buena Vista back in the Sweet 16.  I expect the run to end here though against an insanely talented Occidental backcourt.  They have to be the heavy favorite to win the East bracket.

With all 12 players returning next year, expect Buena Vista to make some noise in season 77.

Nice choke by Willamette last night.  Blew a 58-34 lead with 15:16 left and lost going away 72-83.  Totally awesome, just love it.

This could be ugly

Because work is slowing down for the winter and Because I rejoined DIII Rupp for this thread and Because certain users have recently jumped ship and Because there aren't awesomely long winded acronyms being thrown around anymore....I've decided that next season I'll be introducing the SoGTwMPPoL write-up, most likely on a daily basis.

What is the SoGTwMPPoL you might ask??? Well, you'll have to wait till next season to find out...unless somebody can correctly guess the meaning of the acronym before the beginning of next year, in which case they will win a free season on my behalf.
