If we knew exactly what meant what, we could predict player performance perfectly... which would just lead to more tanking.

Look at Camp.   WW pick-up.   Gave me 500+ innings of better than league average innings at a max of 378k a year.   "Finding" players like that is what this game is about.

wait, what? i can't tell if you are being serious or facetious. i also cannot tell how that response relates to the op

I was being serious and it was in response to your "wish" that WifS would explain exactly how each point in ratings relates to points in other categories.     Essentially you're asking WifS to tell us that 1 pt in VR is worth 1.286 for a P1.

It would be super helpful if WIS would just publish the pitcher-batter algorithm so that we could scientifically define precisely how valuable 1 unit of vsR is vs 1 unit of control, 1 unit of P2, etc.
This.  In case you forgot.

Why on earth would anybody expect that WIS would do that?

Why on earth would someone playing the game want that?

-Sorry I wasn't trying to sound like a d*ck or anything I just didn't expect that particular answer.  Yeah, I mean, it's fun to find useful quad-A guys or whatever, I've posted a few before, but that's not like the ENTIRE purpose of the game, u know?

-In regards to ^^^, if we're asking rhetorical questions ....... why on earth would someone playing the game (the op) want to ask other people who to draft, you know?  The answer to both questions is the same, you know?  It helps to understand the subtle differences between the attributes, and whether a 67 vs R vs 90 vs R is okay as long as a guy has a certain advantage in control, stam, P1-P5, etc.
