I am going to drop out as well. My picking of the White Sox was predicated on being able to use my favorite player, Billy Pierce from the 50's and early sixties. Had a team all picked out using 1911 and 1957 pitchers mixed with 1993 and 2014 hitters. Having to start with 1985 as the first available season to choose from leaves me with no pitchers I would enjoy making a team from. Also having a few dead ball pitchers would have given a unique competition to the league.

It's tough with the limited time period. I was looking forward to Hubbell and Mathewson. I think I'd like to change to the Phillies. And I play my team in Citizen's Bank Park.

The standard 24 teams. With 30 franchises to choose from, and 2 owners being able to take the same franchise, there's lots of possibilities. My guess is that 18 franchises will get represented, and have a fair opportunity to win it all.

Yes, its a flat 200K. The theme rules include that possibility not to utilize that scrub player and actually play him, but to allow you to draft players from your 4 seasons + star that you want to. If you want to give up a roster spot in order to save money for other players, this rule helps you do that. Although every season might not have a 200K scrub, there are going to be oodles over 30 years.
