Soooo.....with our govt now somewhat certain that the NK govt was behind the hack and the threats, is "do nothing" still an option?
What's the alternative?

Patch up relations with dennis rodman and send him to NK to ask his friend for life for another favor

That's above my pay grade.    But it seems like the POTUS shouldn't allow the NK government to make terrorist threats towards American citizens.    Especially when they're in the US.

Maybe "do something"?

I guess you can't really **** on "do nothing" until you have an idea of what "do something" involves.

I'm pretty sure we did nothing when NK threatened to nuke the white house last July. NK threats are bullshit. Ignoring them is the best response.

Sounds like POTUS's answer is to blame Sony.

Well done.

Was Dubya not available to accept blame?    Or is Obama just "redistributing blame" like he does wealth?

Replace missiles with Christmas trees.  And attack.

Looks like "something" will be done:

"U.S. officials have said the government will retaliate for the attacks and White House Press Secretary Josh Earnest said the response would be "proportional."

"Working together, the FBI will identify, pursue, and impose costs and consequences on individuals, groups, or nation states who use cyber means to threaten the United States or U.S. interests," the FBI said in the release."

I'll wait here while Mike and tec applaud the administration for doing "something."

Do you agree with Sony's decision to pull the movie? If not, you agree with Obama that pulling it was a mistake.

And . . . ?
12/19/2014 2:36 PM
Oh ok, your "well done" wasn't sarcastic. My bad.
