It appears that anything over 25 shots in general, the shooting percentage lowers quickly, based on observing from 3 worlds and 3 divisions of leading scorers. Part of the reason is that even though a player may have 30 of the teams 65 shots, it's easy to go over that 50% rule at any given point during the game. It's also interesting to note that there wasn't one player that averages more than 30 points per game. That may be another hint that the field goal percentage could significantly drop. I don't think there was any player, that I could find, that shot over 50% that had 30 or more shots for a game. Of course, the number of maximum shots you could take without FG% dropping significantly would change depending on the temp of the game.
