hey jkorn, long time no see.  I'm in and I want 1985.

and since I'm the GM, owner, and manager of this here team, I'm planning we run the ol' "Robin Ventura charges the mound and gets a noogie" video in the middle of our "Web Gems" montage.   And no fireworks for HRs by my team--instead we do the exploding scoreboard bit for every RBI by one of OUR pitchers who've got to stand in the batter's box themselves, and try not to get dusted off too bad.  By the by, now that "injuries allowed," is a variable...I say yes.

Typically Ryan did not allow many hits nor HR's, but gave lots of K's, walks, and a few bean balls ... likely 85 starters to supplement him in the rotation include Gooden, Tudor and Hershiser ... likely candidates for the regular line up include Brett, Guerrero, Henderson and Raines ...

My apologies! ... 1992 was Ryan's next to last season, but he still had plenty of steam to get a strike per inning pitched! ... Likely companions in the starting rotation include Maddux, Clemens, and Schilling ... Folks like McGuire, McGriff, Bonds, and Sheffield could hit the ball deep before the steroids era that started circa 1998 ...

I don't have a problem with owners having two teams.  I will just have to make sure that when I place the teams in chronological order across the divisions, that I will have the two teams in different leagues.
