Also, so what if he has more strikeouts than hits?  Chris Davis in his big year in 2013 had a lot more strikeouts than hits.  Last year Mike Trout won the MVP with more strikeouts than hits.  And the top NL vote-getter among position players has had more strikeouts than hits every season of his career.  If the guy's also walking and hitting for power, you can live with it.
Wanna list those .229 hitting MVPs?

Don't act like strikeouts don't matter, dahsbadluck.     30% of all balls put in play become hits.   0% of strikeouts do.

I'll list them for you:

Done.   Now STFU.    You can't say "batting average doesn't matter" in one sentence then talk about a MVP with more strikeouts than hits in the next sentence.

Batting average does matter and one/two examples of more Ks than hits is irrelevant.

Yep. It's irrational Arod hate.
What's irrational about disliking a player because of his behavior?
5/6/2015 8:35 AM
Or disliking players because they strike out a lot and don't hit enough?

What's irrational about disliking a player because of his behavior?
Because his behavior, on the scale of terrible **** pro athletes do, wasn't bad.

So you are the universal arbiter of behavior?

Good to know.

Perhaps, when he has time, he'll present a list of athletes we can dislike.

The Yankees expand their division lead in the AL East back out to 3 games with a 6-3 victory over Toronto Tuesday evening.

Michael Pineda (4-0, 2.97) pitched 8 shutout innings, scattering 5 hits and 1 walk before turning it over to the bullpen for the ninth.  David Carpenter faltered, allowing three runs and turning a 6-0 blowout into a 6-3 save situation for Andrew Miller, who got the final out of the game to pick up his 11th save of the season.

Jacoby Ellsbury picked up another three hits to life his AVG to .358.

ARod (.227, 24 K's) opened the scoring with a two run double in the top of the first, and Mark Teixiera (.205, only 15 K's) hit his 10th HR of the season, a two run shot, in the 5th.

Yankees close this road trip with one final game against the Jays tonight as Sabathia (0-4, 5.40) faces off against Mark Buehrle (3-2, 6.75) before they head home for a 4 game set against the Orioles starting tomorrow night,

Do you disagree?

I love when someone gives their opinion and you freak the **** out about it. "Who made YOU king of deciding _______?!?"

It's just my opinion.

And my opinion is that there's nothing wrong with disliking ARod because he's a POS.

Great. And I'm saying that's irrational but unsurprising. You won't be happy until Arod offs himself and donates the remainder of his contract to the Derek Jeter Foundation for the Awareness of Herpes Disclosure Laws.

You seem particularly angry and bitter today.

I'm pretty sure there is no foundation by that name.  And I don't wish physical harm to ARod.  But I will be happy when he goes away for good.

Not angry at all. Really enjoying Arod's season.

And there should be a foundation by that name.
