Today is June 1. There is an awful lot of baseball left and only a few games separating the teams in the AL East.

This is sorta old now, but I'm pretty sure that honor would go to the Blue Jays.  Pretty comfortably.

Actually, I take it back.  Looking at the teams, I'd actually give it to the Yankees.

I'm still here....loyal Sox fan.  So far, it's been a brutal season to watch.

Looking forward to seeing Nap and Victorino gone.  I didn't understand the Panda signing, when you have a capable player in Holt and a supposedly good 3B prospect in Ceccini and another that's a little further away.  Seems like dumb $$$ spent.  I don't mind the Hanley one as much.  He'll likely be the DH soon enough.

Sandoval will probably move to first next year.  Cecchini isn't that close.  He (Cecchini) can also play the outfield if Holt and Bogaerts wind up taking up the left side of the infield.  Holt is pretty inconsistent still for a 27-year-old, though, too much so to count on for much going forward from my perspective.  Anyway, I don't see enough there to prevent the team from signing Sandoval when he was available, particularly given that they only had Napoli under contract through this season.
