Another great show CJ and I agree, my recruiting class at Tenn Tech was a major letdown this season. Two factors hit me hard:
- The saturation of teams in my recruiting region is alway intense, but this season seemed even more crazy. I have 9 HUM coached teams in my 180 mile radius and 14 teams w/in my 360 mile radius. There are 43 HUM coached teams in D1AA, so backing out my team, 33.33% of the D1AA HUM Coaches were all vying for recruits within my 360 radius. THAT'S INSANE! I love the competition though as it only helps people get creative.
- By my count I had 3 very good recruits green to Tenn Tech only to watch you stingy D1A bastards swoop in and scarf them away! Recruiting - "all's fair in love and war!"
You can try with all your might, but Tenn Tech cannot be held down. One recruiting class will not define this team, so careful about discounting my ability to overcome!
Btw... the BEAST is BACK baby! I remember 2 full seasons ago, during the interview w/ you, I predicted Pete would go to the playoffs that season and the next, but would fall early as he built up the newest beast of the OVC. I also predicted then that he'd start making deep runs into the playoffs again, starting with this season! Don't let me down Pete!
