I have said in the past that as a commissioner I have never had an issue with customer support. Well I now understand what people are talking about and I will never be a commissioner again. Our league rolled on 7/30 and started the new season on 8/3 because I make sure my world is filled and I have replacement owners before we roll. We have 2 owners who dropped off the site one on the 10th and one on the 13th.  On the 21st I contacted CS

We require a team abandoned and eligible for a new owner when the current owner has been absent for 14 consecutive days.

If he fails to check in within 48 hours, we will make the replacement.

That is not what you said before. We waited the 14 days due to your response above so this isn't an acceptable solution. I sent a site mail to him on 8/20 that has never been opened.

The regular season has started!!! Have you even looked at the league!!! We are 21 games into the season.Please make the replacement today!

So now they tell me the season hasn't started and that's why they cant transfer the team so I point out to them it has not only started but we are 21 games into the season. I am frustrated at this point.

Please replace me as commissioner of the league with spudpicker. I really don't need the aggravation of dealing with admin making arbitrary decisions that run counter to what they have said in the past.

I would also like to point out previously you said the transfer couldn't take place because the season hadn't started. Please let me know which of these is true.

A) We re wrote policies over the weekend

B) We can't replace him yet since the season hasn't started

Ok so perhaps a bit snarky on my part but like I said I am frustrated at this point and I haven't said anything rude

If a player is absent at the beginning of the season, it is most likely because they missed the email notification that the world has filled and a new season will be starting shortly.

We want to give these owners a chance to come back to their team before replacing them.

Originally, you said you had an absent owner, which is different than an owner who has not yet logged into the world at the beginning of the season.

We sent a request, asking him to check into the world, failure to respond to this request within a reasonable amount of time is when we will consider replacing them as the owner of that team.

We can choose to disregard any request to replace an absent owner at any time. We are not bound to replacing an owner if we feel there is not the need to do so at that time.

So now they change the story again and say he hasn't checked in yet. Simple math should have shown them they were wrong and god forbid they bother to check the league.

I am not sure where you get that he hasn't logged into the world. That's not true. You keep changing your story.

A few things since you seem to be unable to look at things yourself. He didn't miss the e mail that the world rolled. The world rolled on 7/30. He last logged in on 8/10 so he was present for Budget Distribution, Avoid F/A, Arbitration, FA, Coach Hiring and the Rule 5 draft so your assertion that he didnt know the world had filled is, well I don't want to be impolite so lets just say not even a remote possibility.

You don't want to hear it but give them EVERYTHING in your ticket.

Could you please replace dwboyce-Anaheim Angels with whoever in No Quitters!!!!   He has been missing since 8/10.

 

I've never had a problem getting an absentee owner replaced once the required time period has passed.

I don't see the world mentioned in there.   I'm sure you picked it in the category/team headers but I always list it in the body.   dwboyce has two teams and it looks like one has completed but not rolled.   I know that's such a minor detail that should be covered with the headers but I tell people all the time to be specific without being "wordy" when sending tickets.

The real issue for me is how the person keeps changing the reason they won't transfer the team and how he keeps insisting that the league hasn't started and that the missing owner never checked in since rollover
