a while back all the worlds seemed to start exhibiting fewer recruits in general, i wonder if the impact of openings was unintentionally increased or something, it seems kind of crazy that there would be as many recruits as you guys are saying. can the fluctuations in # of openings in a world really vary by that much? there's a thousand teams, i'd expect that to be a big enough sample size to keep the totals in a fairly tight range.

D2 1934/3312 spots filled, 58.39% and 1378 open

D3 2390/4608 spots filled, 51.87% and 2218 open

overall 6873/11808 58.21% 4935 open

on a side note I am interested to see how D1 turns out the next 4 seasons with sooo many teams going to be loaded 90/90 ath/def its crazy Im seeing unranked guys who in a normal year would be a top 25 recruit or guys ranked in the 30-50 range and their potential makes them look like a top 10 positional recruit normally, this will for sure cause some craziness the next few seasons
oh, it must be those free HD teams? did free HD really impact knight d3? having 150 ghost shipped teams who didn't recruit last time could definitely move the needle...

I don't think that impacted Knight at all .. it was Allen that got all the free teams (I think).
