time to hurl the draft into controversy lol...

Senators select Danny Frisella, P

he's missing from the list of available players, but should be on there. he was property of the Mets before the expansion draft, but not protected. he wasn't WIS eligible in 1969, so he should be back in the 1970 player pool.

I looked at him to because I drafted him in a 1970 draft in another league but when I researched it I found him protected by the Yankees. I don't know if this is correct or not.

To complete the failed trade/draft of R. Nelson the NYY take D. Frisella.

The NYY will also add OF M. Hegan to the protected list. I need one more postiion player and one more pitcher.

SP - Would you remind me the definition of a prospect. IE - How many IP/AB did some one need to have prior to 1968 to be considered eligible for the draft?

Also, How do we waive players? I have a couple I had on my original 15 who I think I could replace with available players.

You can not draft prospects in this draft. You can only draft players who are in the 1969 sim.

No waivers.

I came in as a replacement owner after the 100 player expansion draft.

I researched the Cubs organization, not a very productive one. Fred Norman and Relief Pitcher Ramon Hernandezboth had SIM seasons with the Cubs prior to 1969. Neither was in the SIM in 1969, I was not allowed to call them back. Each had only a single season in the SIM.

Can we finish this thing today? 10 or less owners need to make picks....

Fred Norman had less than 50 IP in his one year. Hernandez had just over 50IP.

Sanders and Frisella both had a season well over 50IP.

25 IP and 50 AB are the minimum for SIM seasons.

Yes - But that was not the minimums SP set. He decided who was a prospect and who was not. - jl
