I watched Beverly Hills Cop with my 15yo last night. It held up pretty well, I must say.

There were no baseball references. But I am using a player from 1984 on one of my teams in this round, so I think this counts as relevant.

The $70M and $110M themes are quite a number crunch. They took quite awhile to build. The others were much straightforward. I like my teams, which at this point mean nothing...I foresee this tourney as much different than next season, assuming that dynamic pricing returns. There are a number of bargains to use here...

The $110M theme was an issue of time vs quality, from my experience. I built two eligible iterations quite quickly. I feel good (not great) about one. It was just a question of whether or not I wanted to invest more time in hopes of finding a better option. I opted to just stay put.

I wish I would've written my strategic reasonings down as I made the teams. It's been too long now and I'm not sure I remember why I drafted some of the players I did.

Agree with much of what Doc said. The 70M and 110M were the toughest for me with the 70M my biggest worry. It may not score 600 runs. The Box theme was a little bit of a head scratcher for me, trying to decide which decade to use from box 1.

I do my writeups (at least the skeleton) as I go now. It really helps.

Box 1 was a challenge. I ended up using my least likely choice. The choices in that column were all tempting...

The 110M came about a lot easier than I expected. I couldn’t quite get it perfect, but it was minor things like an uneven amount of PHers

My choice for Box 1 was basically the beginning and end for all of my teams. Pretty sure the bug I caught in that box will be the end of me.

$70M wasnt hard, just a few minor tweaks at the end to get the numbers to match. If you drafted high OAV pitchers and avoided high AVG hitters along the way.
Most were as easy or as hard as you want to make them. Go with the first ideas you thought of? Or try everything and see what works best.

To honor one of my favorite players ... Dustin Pedroia is the starting second baseman on all six of my teams.

I made choices on years and teammates etc, to get the same ballpark across all 6 teams. Probably will come back to haunt me, but thought it would be fun.

My 110m accompanying team ended up with no LH pitching. Lmao. In the unlikely event that it matters.
