Hey everyone

Apologies for being largely MIA during the second half of Round 1 here. For context, the cofounder of my company spent 45 days in the hospital with a terrible medical issue. He's, thankfully, fine now and out of the hospital but I haven't been able to maintain my own teams, let alone check in on everything here. Needless to say, a lot more of the business fell onto my shoulders as a result and, coupled with having just gotten married, I simply haven't had time for any hobbies (let alone much sleep).

I'll be able to read through all comments and keep the standings updated going forward, starting tomorrow. I'll have Round 2 themes out by sometime next week (not this week).

Ozo is clearly not "done being upset for not being able to spend time managing my platoons in 2 leagues" :)

So obviously I hope ozomatli is ok. But I’m also wondering at what point do we start brainstorming themes on our own? Unless someone has heard from him?

Maybe 10 themes and we take a poll? I’m sure in the past cpl decades we’ve had some good themes we can change the caps of...anything to get going...

Seriously though, contrarian ran a WAR of the franchises that limited teams player pools to players who were top 50(I think) in career WAR for that franchise.

Was an extremely fun and competitive league, made you make some hard choices on which seasons of players to take. Some of the best hitting teams don’t have great pitching and vice versa

80 Mil: all pitchers are Bartolo Colon, all hitters are Augie Ojeda and Mike Fontenot

90 Mil: screw your neighbor

I just read this. Does somebody need to come up with some good themes for Round 2? I can do that if you want. Already have a few ideas.
