I missed by $19 on my first attempt. Can I use a coupon or something?
$140,942,336 Dammit!

I’m glad I wasn’t the only one who’s first attempt was just barely above the cap. That forced my biggest decision in restructuring my initial game plan.

I went over a few times, then had one that got to 139.8 mil and went fine, I give up that'll do

At some point you just have to say to heck with eat and gobble up the $150k or whatever it is. Maddening when you can't extricate yourself.

I got within $3,425. Not easily, but I got there.
5/10/2022 1:26 AM
My experience was the opposite. 140 million was the first league I finished. Got under 25K on my first attempt.

$120M Q&A

Q: Is the $15 million maximum for deadball pitchers for individual pitchers or the combined salary of all deadball pitchers?

A: Combined salary of all deadball pitchers.
This is by far the most common roster error I am seeing across all 6 leagues. Many owners seem to have missed (or misunderstood) this rule.

Quick tip:

you can’t go over the $15m deadball pitchers cap if you you don’t draft any deadballers.

Had to change it around from my original plan, but eventually got within $8k so I’m happy

$140M: Trip Eights and the Big Joker

Choose eight players. You will clone each of those eight players three times. The 25th player on your roster must cost at least $20 million and cannot be a 19th century pitcher.

Seasons: All
DH: Yes
Clones: Yes
Ballpark: All
So you can twist the 8 players you choose? Or if i pick ‘96 bonds, do i have to pick 96 bonds 3 times?

You can only ever roster one season of a player. You can't even use the partial and combined or two partials or anything like that. The sim won't allow it.

You pick three seasons each of 8 different players.

Under no circumstances would the sim allow you to draft more than one 1996 Bonds, or 1921 Ruth. Clones (3 different seasons of the same player) is what we're doing in the $140M...

current roster validation status:

488 validated
19 invalid
69 teams still not entered

assuming because I have no SMS that i am not one of the 19?
