We had an interesting opening game in my 255M league. Johnny Bench drove in 12 runs but still isn't leading the league. His teammate Jason Giambi drove in 13. All in all, a 58-2 opener that might generate more offensive fatigue than anything else.

Nearly all went to plan in the opening 5-1 slate. Thru 1 game, my Nolan Ryan and Floyd Youmans were pitching machines compared to the Tewks of the world.

My 80 mil team was no-hit into the 8th (but had scored 2 runs) and won in 13 while my 110 mil team was shut out despite 11 hits and 3 walks. Baseball!

I was up 2-1 after 8 in my $120M league. Then Miller promptly gave up 2 singles and a homer.
