Another 1-5 session, where my losing teams got outscored 36-7. At least it's not bad luck. It's simply bad roster construction. It was a fun ride while it lasted.

Here are some of my teams' recent trends...

60M: Started 6-6, but 5-18 since
100M: Started 7-7, but 1-10 since
110M: Started 15-2, but 2-6 since
120M: Started 5-4, but 5-11 since
160M: Started 12-7, but 2-4 since

So for those keeping score at home, that's 45-26 start.... 15-49 since.

A rough stretch for the hebdomads too. Don't get me wrong, I'm absolutely delighted to be near the top. But recent thrashings combined with two teams dealing with scary IP fatigue has me wondering if I might have peaked at Game 22. Guess we shall see.

My 60M team has had blue relievers for so long that soon they will only add 2-3% of stamina when they don't pitch. What is the WISC lingo for this predicament? My suggestions are Elsa, icy blue, frosty blue and permafrost because these pitchers will (hopefully) be frozen in blue for the rest of the season while avoiding the death spiral.

I'll let it go.

My mind goes to "Tangled Up in Blue" by Bob Dylan. So I'll think of them as Dylanesque relievers perhaps. I have a few bench hitters who have some Subterranean Homesick Blues of their own, too.

What was our term for going 0-6 then 6-0 next cycle? Asking for a friend.

I'm *really* surprised to be on top of the rankings right now.

I still expect my 60 million team to regress and be one of the worst in the league. I also think my Colorado team will get passed by Schwarze pretty soon. But I should stay in the thick of things, and I wasn't expecting that.

So you are saying you don't think that your Bill Joyce won't finish with a team high 45 HRs (which is what his pace is at)?

He's my sleeper but that may be asking just a little too much, even at Mile High. I'll take 35 right now.

Well I don't know if I'd take 35 right now. I definitely would have before the season though.

And my Bill Joyce, playing in Coors, is on pace for 8 HRs!

Three 1-5 sessions in last four. Ugh.
