Round 2 Standings Topic

I've created a Round 2 Standings spreadsheet which I've shared. I will add more tabs when I have time, including analysis on each league. I will try to update after each session's run, but can't guarantee that I won't miss a few times.

Oops, I forgot to allow access. It should be open to view for all now.

I've started adding tabs to the Standings spreadsheet to show data from each theme league. I added the 60M and 80M tabs today.

Interesting in the 60M that there seems to be no correlation between IP and Win% to this point, but there's a pretty strong one between PA and Win%. If anything, I would have expected the opposite.

We're past the halfway point. I added some new columns to the spreadsheet.

(Queue the big losing streak for me).

Wow...schwarze's currently projected 27 point lead suddenly seems insurmountable. Makes a big difference when round 1 is factored in.

In past years, the overall champ usually puts up a huge round 2, which more than offsets the round 1 results. This is an odd year, where nobody is running away with round 2. In fact, the average wins per team for the round 2 regular season leader is below 90 per team, which might be the lowest ever.

I've helped by mostly crapping the bed thus far this round, too.

6-12 since this post

My 60M team started 0-5 and then 2-12. We have at long last hit .500 at 43-43.

Balancing that out is my 120M team, which started 20-12 and is now 40-46.

Be glad that your $60M team is in the AL. I just played boogerlips' team (3 games in Coors). My pitching staff went from mostly green to all blue after allowing 35 runs and throwing 428 pitches. 1-4 since that series.

How is he doing so well with only 1335 IP and playing half his games there?

I have no idea how his pitching staff is ranked 10th with most pitches thrown despite being third in runs allowed? Some kind of weird voodoo sh*t gong on there.

I also don't really understand the strategy - have to draft more IP and PA than otherwise making all your players of lesser talent than other 60 mil teams. Obviously missing something since it's been very successful.

My first series there I got away with just 363 pitches. I visit there on Tuesday. Hoping I can get away being close to that number. Although, my pitching staff is as fresh as it was in the second series of the season. So, that may hurt me a little with the pitch count.
