A day or so ago, I had 5 of my teams at .500 or better (though 3 were exactly at .500) with one just a couple games below. I held off commenting, hoping I could get that last one to .500, too.

Alas, it's gone the other way and a mauch in the pm2 cycle today set us way back again. I've got 3 under .500 now and 2 of them have dropped 4 games under. It's looking like a slog to the finish with just one team in playoff position, too.

Wow...schwarze's currently projected 27 point lead suddenly seems insurmountable. Makes a big difference when round 1 is factored in.

Didn't take long for this post to become outdated. Brutal run for my teams. Lots of 2-4's, with a few 1-5's and 3-3's scattered in. Can't remember the last 4-2 session.

0-6. It was fun while it lasted.

Just when I felt optimistic after 91 wins in the 5th 162, we start the last one with a pair of 1-5 cycles. Ugh. Still only one team in playoff position, which is going to kill me if I don’t get on a run somewhere.

In the "too little too late" category, in Game 152 I got my first schwarze of the round. Barring a stunner, I'll have just one playoff team and little chance of moving up the board alas.

Followed it up with a 5-1 to give me just a tiny bit of hope for a second playoff team. I now have 2 teams that are 3 games back, but with division games coming up we have some control over the outcome. If things go really well, I could sneak into the top 5 by the end.

At least duhbigcat can blame fatigue for winning less than 50 games so far in the last 162, WIS decided that most of my teams would start sucking all at once. Thanks WIS for that finish.

I'd have a lot better chance if my best team hadn't gone 7-16 over the last 23. They decided they had the division locked up so what the heck I guess.

Well, with 4 games to go I have two teams still 3 games out of a playoff spot. It's not impossible for one of those to pull it off, I suppose.

On the bright side, 4 of my teams have clinched .500 records and another can still pull it off with a 3-1 finish.

With four games to go, I guess I have a teeny, tiny chance of making the worst to first comeback. It all depends on getting 5 teams deep into the playoffs.
Although, going 500 or less in the last five sessions certainly hasn’t helped.
And it’s crucial I hold schwarze off in the 120m league. I have a slim one game division lead over him with our season ending series on tap.

Yep, I really need to win 3 of 4 from you to get the fourth playoff team in.

It's so close that a number of different people can win this thing. It all comes down to who gets lucky in the playoffs. If any of the top 5 or 6 people win two World Series, that could be enough to take the title.

I added a tab to the standings which shows the scoring impact and winning% based on the ballpark selected in the 160M league. When removing duhbigcat's fatigued team, there is little difference between the two ballparks.

I’ve now gone .500 or less in the past seven sessions to meekly limp to the finish. However, the few wins I have put together eliminated schwarze in the 120m. I have four teams confirmed for the playoffs and my 60m just needs to win one of its last 9 games to clinch the wildcard…..however, it’s on an L6 and I see the L8 and subsequent loss in the tiebreaker on the horizon.

Congrats on the 60M WC, RTG. It was bizarre, my crazy tired staff got even more crazy tired, and yet that spurred a win streak that almost got me to the playoffs. Was a fun run even though we fell just short.

Posted the standings spreadsheet thru the end of the regular season. I won't be updating this until we get through the first playoff series or so. Need to update things to capture playoff results.
