Question:

Many players were drafted in the June Amateur Draft and did not sign a contract with their respective teams. They were then redrafted by another club and signed.
For instance, Ozzie Smith was drafted by the Tigers in 1976. He did not sign. Smith was eventually drafted by the Padres in 1977.

Is Smith (and other players drafted multiple times) eligible to be used in both years?

Players that were drafted but didn't sign are eligible to use in your draft year as long as you're using the June Amateur draft and not any of the supplemental drafts.

I found Mark Mulder in 1995 was drafted as a 1B by the Tigers!

Has anyone tried making a team with 1987? It has Griffey, Biggio, Albert Belle, Mussina, Appier, Jack McDowell, and Robb Nen!

I will try them. They also have Jeff Conine, Jeff Cirillo, Darryl Kile, Bret Boone, David Segui, Steve Finley, & a lot of other secondary stars.
