Named after the great Rusty Staub, the player who through no fault of his own, played in the most losing games of all time. It should be noted that in Staub's sole playoff appearance in 1973 he had a triple slash line of .341/.413/.683 across 46 plate appearances!
Let's see if we can get this filled. I think this league will generate a pool of players rarely used at a competitive salary cap. This gives you an opportunity to build a team of players, particularly pitchers, who rarely appear at this salary cap level.
The concept is simple. Build a team of 24 players who played on teams who finished under .500 for the season. Any season in the WIS database is eligible. Full, partial, and combined seasons are allowed provided the season you use is on a losing team.
You won't find a lot of Yankees, Dodgers, Cardinals, or Giants in this league.
Your 25th player (Wildcard) will be any player from a World Series losing team. This player and his team will determine your ballpark. Your Wildcard cannot be the most expensive player on your team.
No AAA, DH, Injuries, Trades, Clones or Waiver Wire
Divisions organized chronologically by Wildcard player season.

The simplest way I have found to search for said players when searching the player database, click on player name, then click on team name in the popup screen. This will show you the whole team and record of said team.
