RPI is up and we look solid. Conference RPIs haven't been posted, but we should be top 5.

Time to kick off the conference season! Good Luck to those in the North.

Let's look back at my picks, with bolded commentary:

Bound for the Big Dance: Saint Mary's (4th seed), Baptist Bible (11th), Gaulladet (14th)

SMM seems about right. Baptist Bible is probably about right. Gaulladet has a chance to vidicate. Their low RPI is totally a function of SOS.

Stuck at the Junior Prom: Mary Washington (just don't have the rebounding to seal the deal), Marymount (wait... until... next... year)

MW will need to pick it up a little to get to the PIT. Marymount is looking solid, but still could fall here.

Just out: Catholic (So many low IQ's, so little time), Goucher (their top 5 scare me, but the rest... not so much)

I've had the right schedule to be 9-2; I'll finish with an RPI around 95. RStreete's getting my COY vote so far. His team has flaws, but no one has been able to expose them.

PG- Troy Garcia (Chestnut) - the strength is at SG. Stanton, Santora, Cain or Peek could also be among those to make noise at the point.

This is probably Cain, followed closely by Cain and Peek, but none are as impressive as...

SG- Alex Eldridge (Goucher) - He and Darrell Johnson will again be the best guards (offensively) in the conference and will be 1st and 2nd team.

Eldridge and Johnson who are 1A and 1B

SF- Sonny Knox (Villa Julia) - By default? We graduated all the top SF's

I guess so... all the top tier talent in the conference is at SG, PF, and C

PF- Jorge Priolo (MW)

By a mile.

C - Justin Fermin (Salisbury) - don't rule out Murphy or Boldin from Gallaudet

The Murph has blossomed as a senior and deserves this billing over some very, very talented competition.
