7-6, RPI 176.  Ouch!  This team is severely underperforming, not ably to pull out any games against the good teams on the schedule.  I really believe there is top 25 talent here, but I don't think this team has shown any signs of avoiding the ignomy of a PIT, if that.  Pitiful.  The good news is that the top-25 core pretty much returns.  McClimans (+25), Noggle (+38) are star pieces returning.  Jessie  (+18 in the right spots) and Hollon (+22 in the right spots) are the FR.  Insert Rick Springfield and Oates references yourseflf, I'm too depressed about the RPI.

0-13, RPI 363.  Yikes!  I don't like the P ratings or lack of PE, but I don't hate this team.  No idea how they went winless against a weak OOC slate.  The good news: only 1 SR and he's not much better than his FR partner.  With the 3 openings, a shooter and some luck should get this team back into the top 150 in RPI as soon as next year.  Oyola (+21, +7 PE) and Murphy (+21) support a decent development core.

3-11, RPI 142.  Edelman's squad would normally be the king of the underperforming court with this record, but his RPI is decent enough.  The ATHs are 1st class; there is some PE and LP; the REB is decent (though light for G's and SF's).  No reason he shouldn't have a few more wins.  Belli (+39, +11 LP) and English (+36, +10) are speaking the language of improvement.  Beck, another FR (+25, well rounded) is no loser as well.  Wysong's sings an odd profile chorus: 60+ LP and REB, but no improvement; big moves up in DEF and LP.  Another team not losing much.

7-7, RPI 111.  Great G speed and solid PE.  Nice LP and REB; Ath is low for the bigs; D is pretty poor.  Really a good squad all together.  If the North were a little stronger RPI-wise, this looks like a 9-7/8-8 RPI 75 squad.  Instead it looks like a 9-7/10-6 RPI 110 squad.  Really a shame.  The FR look decent.  Shepard looks like a moonwalker with the 50 ATH and +4 REB improvement.  Hannah doesn't need his sisters: +26 (+6 REB, +7 BLK, +4 LP) is really a very, very nice profile.

14-1, RPI 21.  Rusticity keeps rolling along, even without relying on the beauty of the -5 any more.  Stephens is now a JR; worth noting tha this PPA is below the team average. Coach Carter (65+ SPD and PE) and Cab Callaway (70+ SPD and PE though not the driver you would expect) headline the FR class.  Curtis is dropping like a Stone in coach Rusticity's depth chart.  The 1 PE makes him an odd fit for MW's style.  The big improvement to note is Gault who has a Hood-like ATH/SPD combo (+6, +5 this year- might get 75/80).

7-7, RPI 107.  Yuck.  Even though he's underperformed, at least Wrono's RPI position is redeemable.  This also is borderline NT talent, the lack of SPD depth and low Iqs are the big red flags.  The Carolina-connection FR class (downtown Freddie Brown, Kenny Smith, and Neckbeard Rees) are all interesting; I don't like Rees, but that troika all have the WEs to potentially Heel their shortcomings.   Brown (+31) and Smith (+31) have shown the big jumps to date; how high Smith's LP can get will be interesting.  Khan's gone from 20 to 42 for CUA in a year and a half.

13-3, RPI 18.  Wood's peak is pretty fun; for those scoring at home, 97/70 gives you 18ppg with 50% shooting.  Kelly and Kopec are the typical FR; heavy in SPD/PE and REB/LP.  Morisky (was that Jon Cryer's character's real name on Hiding out) is another SF fiend in Wood/low reb/sick athlete mold.  Kopec continues the trend of less ATH/SPD bigs.  Williams as a RS FR the closest thing the conference has seen to Stephen Harrison since his arrival.  Brennan's +10 in PE so far this year.  His upside is pretty staggering.  Note the high ST's around York, but hide the FT shooting from women and children.

2-14, RPI 333.  This is a bad team.  Given the 6 FR and 5 So's, that is expected and acceptable.  The question is whether the core is there to make an postseason in the near future.  The star is Parsons.  I love The Man of the Cloth.  Great LP with upside (+6); nice REB upside (+8).  The rest of the guys have some hits (Ben is not the greatest, but is good; Elders has old man skills but no scoring profile) but there is no PE anywhere, leaving the guard situation a trainwreck, even if Zamzam has a great name.

16-0, RPI 1.  The good news for the rest of us is that I don't think they are as good as they've played so far this year.  I'm calling 2 losses this year.  The bad news is tha thte PE and LP are not concentrated in the upperclassmen.  Ohler is a heck of a FR, and so is Kendall's son as a G, but neither is in the Harrison/Brooks class.  Check out the positional average ATH, SPD, and LP compared to the rest of the conference.  Ridiculous.

9-10, RPI 95.  Check out Williams PPA and PPG.  Interesting in that he's the big scorer despite being 4th in PE (by almost 20 points).  The LPs are low here, but the G Speed is good and most of the other skills are solid.  Grider is the RS FR (+39, +5 in SPD, P, BH); He's developing into a low ST Williams.  Stout isn't really, only picking up 16 (but +5 in PE).  Carpenter is not developing a broad based skill set, but he's dropping the hammer in REB (+8) and LP (+12).  The real skill climber is Wise (+40, +14 LP).

7-11, RPI 87.  The good news: There are some very good bigs here.  There are 3 FR who are going to be very good G's (Sus is a RS).  The bad news: There are only 3 G's.  That leads to the brutal-tastic TO ratio (see below).  The PE ratings are improving rapidly (Peck and "Bomber" McVay +10) and those G's should supplement Noel for perimeter scoring and good balance (returning 3 90+ REBs inside).  Also note that and 4 guys (the G's, Taylor, and So Fort) are all +40 on the year.  Hopefully magneto can get his classes rebalances to avoid further predicaments like this team poses.

10-9, RPI 40.  This team has balanced scoring, decent skills, balanced D and very good PPA.  The bad news is the Tos (atrocious) and the SR-heavy scoring; this is a team that needs and NT run this year to keep its elite status.  He doesn't want last year's NT miss to start a trend that might be hard to pull out of.  I like the young backcourt (Ford/Switzer) and SF (Battle is a 66 REB and headed north of 70), but the bigs are a mixed bag: I like Simpson 75/80 REB/LP pairing, but his low ST with Goulette/Blaine superlow ST will likely cause performance issues down the road.  Lucius has finally weeded out the low WE's from his program.

Looks like new engine has reduced the importance of rebounding. My team is underperforming the modest 6-10 projection and if you look at the top Reb teams in all of D-III, a lot of them have pretty mediocre records.

Misread the line!  My team was projected at 8-8. We're lucky if we get to 3-13!
