We are pleased to announce that Leagues will start forming December 3rd.  We'd like to thank everyone that has participated in the sneak peek/open beta period to help us test a higher volume of people playing around with settings, playing games, and providing feedback.

The plan:

• 11/13 - We have officially moved the game out of beta.  All users have been given a limited opportunity to delete their club to start in a new nationality or just get new players.  This feature will be available until December 2nd, just before leagues start forming.  Keep in mind that making a new club will require you to get back in to the waiting list for leagues.  We have also given you the opportunity to rename/re-scheme your club, so you can change the name, colors, and emblems.  This feature will be available until early next year, and it does not impact your club joining a league.  Both of these features are on the User Settings page.

• 11/24 - Clear out Old League Join Requests. We will delete any requests to join leagues from users that have not logged in since 10/20.  If you want to stay on the list, you must have checked your club since then.  Also, if you do not want to join a league, there is now a feature that allows you to remove yourself on the League Join page.  This is being done to help prevent inactive clubs from being placed in leagues.  We will be sending out an email about leagues starting and we will include more information about this.

• 12/3 - Start Forming Leagues.  In an interest to pace the leagues for future season rollovers, we will only be creating 2 Worlds per day and each World will only fill 3 Nationalities each.  While this will substantially increase the time to get everyone into leagues, it is necessary to improve your experience for future seasons.  As long as everything checks out for those initial leagues, we will continue on that schedule until we fall into the normal schedule of allowing leagues to form as needed.

are we only given one chance to alter our teams? that seems contrary to what the news implies. Wouldnt it make more sense to freeze that option once the league begins? there arent even worlds yet and im being forced to delete my team just to change one name.

You can change your name without deleting your team.  However, you can only do that once.  You only really need to delete your team if you want to switch nationalities.  Sorry for the confusion.

We did this to try to accomodate folks that did not realize their beta team would be rolled into their real team.  Plus we have a few more selections for emblems.  On the other hand, we do not want people to delete and rename teams every day, which is why there is a limitation.

Missed your opportunity for what?

If you want to change your name/colors/logo, you can until Janurary. It will not affect your ability to get in a league with your current club. If you want to change your nationality, you have to delete you current club and create a new one, but will have to be readded to the wait list for a league. Looks like you have until leagues start forming (December 2nd) to delete and create a new club.

Edit: I found it in the settings but it won't work. I delete it and it brings me back to my clubs homepage.

League games will not start until you are placed in a league, and no one is in a league until December 3rd.

To play exhibition matches, you have to go to the challenge page and issue a challenge to another club, or issue an Open Challenge which will then randomly schedule a game for you with someone else issuing an Open Challenge.

You either already went through the process or did not create your team during beta.  Only clubs created during the beta period had been given the option to change name and colors, as there have been more options added and some people weren't clear that the beta club would become their real club.

Adding more formations and increasing tactics settings will be in one of the upcoming updates for the game.
