One of the original worlds rolled on 5/30. We’re looking for 1 to join us for S69.

Why Join OCD:
  • We have very little turnover. More than half of all owners have been here at least 20 seasons. 8 were here in Season 1.
  • We pride ourselves on rolling over very quickly each season.
  • Some very basic private world rules give owners control to run their teams how they see fit while providing a few safeguards against wild tank jobs or completely absent owners.
  • As one of the original worlds, our games SIM around 3 or 4 minutes after the hour.
AL EAST

Draft Pick: #21
Finance: $40M committed for S69
Highlights: A well stocked minors with a bunch of useful players
  • 24 year old RF, Wilin Perez smashed AA pitching last year.
  • SP Wilmer Gonzales was a mid-first rounder this past season and projects to be excellent vR with two good pitches.
  • 2B Albert Villar is another former first rounder who will have high contact and an elite eye.
  • Zephyr Cobb is a power-hitting former 1st rounder at DH who should end up with 75+ power/vL/vR
  • A power-hitting 24-year old 1B, Mitchell Epstein looks ready for the majors.

NL EAST

Draft Pick: #11
Finance: $40.7M committed for S69
Highlights:
  • 25 year-old Garrett Rosin is the NL Fireman going into his second year of arb
  • 22 year-old former 3rd round pick Shawon Rollins looks like another bullpen piece coming off a DITR bump
  • 20 year old 3B Ivy Scharein I had rated as the best college position player in the S68 draft (though in a somewhat weak class)
  • 23 year-old RP Wilson Pomeranz is an RP prospect with excellent CTRL and P1
  • 1st Round draft picks in S66 and S67 were HS SP prospects who look promising (Joshua Abercrombie and Pinky Harris)

AL SOUTH
f/k/a: Jackson Five
S68 Record: 57-105
Draft Pick: #2
Finance: $56M committed for S69.
Highlights: The #2 pick should jumpstart a rebuild along with a the #2 pick from S68’s draft, a hard hitting HS 1B, Franmil Roosevelt and Yasiel Rosado a 2B who’s been an OBP machine in the minors. All $56M that’s on the books for S69 is expiring, $0 committed starting in S70 offers quite the ability to rebuild!

AL NORTH
f/k/a: Vancouver Canadians
S68 Record: 94-68
Draft Pick: #27
Finance: $21.5M committed for S69
Highlights:
  • SP Max Newhan is under contract for 2 more years, coming off a year where he’s a CY finalist
  • RP Victor Bennett is going into his 2nd year of arb and is a Fireman finalist.
  • SS Mike Kouzmanoff is coming off his first full year in the ML, maybe a longterm 3B was the Silver Slugger SS this season
  • A couple of expiring contracts will lead to comp picks if they’re not resigned (particularly 2B Todd Boehringer who should be a popular FA target)
  • A bunch of prospects drafted over the past 3 seasons (three 1 picks and three sandwich round picks) give the minors a good foundation. Particularly AA SP Russ Hill and ML 1B Mikey Sipp look like good young pieces.
