The statistical inputs to the thousands of college football simulations are based on rigorous analysis of each team's roster, depth charts and statistically based player rankings. Roster modifications are made in cases of injury or suspension and those players are removed from their team's game simulation for that week.

Game of the Week: Oregon at Washington

They are fast. They put butts in the seats. They average nearly 60 points per game, while only allowing 12. With their Phil Knight-funded sex appeal, the Oregon Ducks continue to wow the masses, but who have they played?

Wins over Nicholls State, Virginia, California, Tennessee, and Colorado don't amount to much when combined the five programs have lost 14 games this season. The "best" defense among that quintet are the Cavaliers and they rank 70th in points against (27.4 PAPG). So, take the following stats with a grain of salt if you will.

One-man-band quarterback Marcus Mariota is completing over 56 percent of his passes with 14 touchdowns, no interceptions, while adding over 300 rushing yards and seven more scores. Three other running backs have rushed for more than 200 yards through the first five games with De'Anthony Thomas averaging eight yards per rush and six touchdowns. Receivers Josh Huff and Bralon Addison have combined for eight touchdowns this season.

The Ducks are 32nd against the rush and 29th against the pass.

The Washington Huskies gave undefeated Stanford all it could handle last week before falling three points short on the road.

Quarterback Kevin Price is completing over 71 percent of his passes this season with 11 touchdowns and three picks. As a team, the Huskies rank 23rd in the country at nearly 300 passing yards per game.

Lead rusher and All-Name Team nominee, Bishop Sankey has racked up 125-or-more yards on the ground in four out of five games this season with a team-high seven touchdowns.

Eight different receivers have found the end zone for Washington this year with Kevin Smith and Kason Williams leading the way with over 700 receiving yards between the two of them with three touchdowns.

The Huskies' third-ranked pass defense (146 YAPG) will look to slow down the Ducks' up-tempo offense. Washington is ranked 45th in the nation against the rush at 141 yards allowed per game.

We simulated the Ducks and Huskies 101 times and it's Oregon winning 58.4 percent of the time by an average score of 27-23.
