Well, completely outmanning the opponent does make it easier.     Is it because Houston only sent 4 into the huddle or because Seatlle plays 30 on D?

Seattle still had to make the play but a good QB isn't throwing that pass in that situation.
Brady, Brees and Manning see this, and then fall and take the sack.

Houston was up 7.  Boneheaded play.  Sure, it was a fantastic defensive play call.  It would have been manageable had Schaub just taken the sack.  There was 2:40 left in the game and up 7 freaking points!

Punt it and put them inside their 20 where you can put your highly rated D out there.

Gift wrapped game to Seattle.

You don't typically win a game where you are down 20-3 at half on the road without having it be gift-wrapped in some fashion or another.  You also don't typically start a game with a third string left tackle, a backup center and a backup right tackle.  Good teams put themselves in a position to take advantage when the opportunity presents itself, regardless.  The fact that it was gift-wrapped doesn't diminish the win, in my mind.  Nor would the decimation of the offensive line have been an excuse if we'd lost.  It's still a big road win (5-1 in our last six road games), we're still 4-0, we've still got a two game lead in the division, and we still have the only other undefeated team left in the NFC coming to visit in the second half of the season.  More than all of that, we still have to find a way to win in Indy this weekend.

When a team of Seattle's capability goes down 20-3 you have to think something was "gift-wrapped".

I think the people going "Phhttttt, great defense my ***" as simply doing so because that's a pass that shouldn't have been thrown.    It's a pass you'd expect from some panicked rookie or a dipshit QB like Vick who can't read a defense.    Of course, as I mentioned, maybe Schaub is a dipshit QB like Vick and that's why Houston is always "almost there".

Need to get healthy on the offensive line sooner rather than later.  That game was WAY too close.
