He spent "3 quarters handing the ball off" because they were up 17-0 after 6 minutes of football.

Manning sucked...royally.  70% QB Rating!?!?!

Manning was going up against DB's that were just promoted from the practice squad and could do ****.

No Wilfork, Kelly, Mayo, Hightower (left at halftime), Dennard (left at halftime)...list goes on.  Still, wobbling duck Manning couldn't move the chains at all with a 24 point lead.  Sad.

Brady was better than Manning, and the Pats won.  Manning plays like Manning and Denver wins.  At least a large part of the blame goes to him.

Also...4th and 8 or whatever from the Pats 38 in OT? And you punt? Get a first down and there's a great chance you win the game.  They got a net 18 on the punt and the Pats got to the 40 on the next play.  Win the game, dammit.

They couldn't kick the FG because of the wind and they didn't trust Mannings arm either.  Plus, you don't convert it and you give them great field position with the wind.  They made the right call.  Pinned them around the 10 yard line.  Pats didn't move the ball....got bailed out on a bonehead play by Welker.

They got a net 18 on the punt.  He wanted to make sure it didn't go in the end zone, and he did when a fair catch was called at the 20.

The risk/reward seems to be worth going for it.  If you get a first down, you probably win.  If you don't, you still might win.

You're underestimating the weather and how bad Manning looked during the game.  He could barely get a quality pass +5 yards down the field.  All he did all game was heave up air balls and hope for PI to be called or Thomas to out jump everybody.....which happened several times.

19 for 36.   4.2 yard per attempt.    If that were Cam Newton's numbers, we'd all be making fun of him.

So they were playing for the tie then? I like the odds of have Manning move the ball 10 yards down the field than 80 yards down a field with a few minutes left.

I wouldn't blame it all on Manning. I'd blame the whole offense with the exception of Moreno and Tamme, DRC for diving for a Hail Mary that went 30 yards and landed at the 10 yard line and being out for the game, and Welker for not catching the punt at the end.

Did you watch the game? At all?

Manning made 3 great passes on that game-tying drive into tight windows, more than 5 yards down field. The pass to Thomas near the sideline on that drive was neither wobbly or a jump ball. Manning was mediocre, as I said, but the insinuations he was brutal or couldn't get a pass 5 yards down field are comical.

He had 36 attempts...5 were quality.

Yes, he was brutal.  See QB Rating and yards per attempt.  No, he wasn't Mark Franchise brutal....but he's Peyton Manning...a gift from god....yet, he choked again and as brutal again in the cold vs the Pats.

There's a big difference between "brutal" and "brutal by Peyton standards". I'll agree on the latter, but he played well enough for his team to have won that game.

Can't see the Broncos even making it out of the AFC.  If they do, the NFC team is going to cream them.

Can't defend that INT tonight. It wasn't even like the lineman swiped his arm from behind - it was right in front of him and he still attempted the pass. Terrible decision.

That being said, if their defense can find a way to even play "average", they can win the AFC. As bad as they looked tonight, no team looks better. Cincy has probably been the most dominant AFC team lately. Pats have been winning, but they haven't looked good doing it by any means.
