He was also a complete failure in NE.

I tend to like my QBs to complete passes to members of their own team
Then why'd you pick Fouts?

Fouts 254 TD 242 INT 86-84 career record, 1 MVP (I'll give it to him in '82, when the AP gave it to a kicker!)
Favre 508 TD 336 INT 186-112 career record, 3 MVP, 1 SB Championship

Was Sammy Baugh picked? Thread is dancing around a lot, it's hard to keep track.  He's my pick if he hasn't been.

There's only a handful of good QB's left to choose from.

The fourth round of this draft is going to be a ****-fest of "point and laugh" picks,

He hasn't been selected. Picks are being updated on the first page, but it's a little difficult because the usernames don't reflect the draft order.

I think Kelly went just about where he should have.

KEYSHAWN!!!

Too bad it's ESPN and not CBS, I'd love to hear (see?) toddcommish riff on Shannon Sharpe.

I'm actually a little surprised you guys are showing such respect for the old timers.  I expected much more anti-oldtimer bias.

Yea, I didn't want to pick Baugh, considering I had Graham already.  But he basically revolutionized how football was played, and put up fantastic stats relative to his era.  The rest of what was available wasn't very appealing to me in comparison.

I'm actually hoping someone in particular comes back to me.  I didn't think Baugh would.

If Kern takes Bradshaw and Aikman, he'll have the winningest QB from the 70's, 80's, and 90's.
kern has 11 rings now.  He can finish with Bubby Brister and have the most.

Shockingly, there aren't as many great QB as I thought.    No way did I think Kelly was top 20 all-time.   So, with that in mind, you get down to someone had compiled stats like Dave Krieg, someone who had a few great seasons like Kurt Warner or an old-timer.

I thought there'd be at least one no-brainer left when it came back to me but there really wasn't. In the end, the rings were the deciding factor for me.

We should redo this draft again with a different order and compare results.

I think round 4 is going to be funny.

If one thinks the objective of the "game" is to have the most well-rounded group, some weird *** picks are coming.
