I'm not down on the Chiefs. They're a top 4-5 team in the AFC when everyone's healthy, and I think Smith is underrated. But talentwise, they're not even in the Broncos area code. If Denver ever stops shooting themselves in the foot, they'll be very difficult to beat.

The Broncos do not suck. Neither do the Chiefs, but, as Mike said, if the Chiefs suck, so do the Broncos.

2009 record: 7-9

2012 record: 7-9

Now, apply that to the 2012-'13 Kansas City Chiefs.

They had Chad Henne. We have Alex Smith
They had Ronnie Brown. We have Jamaal Charles.
They had Anthony Fasano. We have Anthony Fasano.
They would be 6-5 right now. We are 9-2.
The 12-13 chiefs are so much in better shape than the 07-08 Dolphins. Not even a fair comparison.
