Record apparently under review. They're saying a pass to Decker may be changed to a lateral/running play, which would give the record back to Brees.

Good job, NFL...**** Peyton off right before the playoffs start. That can only mean good things for the Broncos.

Yeah, he'll make it warmer and less windy so his wobbly ducks will become sizzling spirals.

I love how a routine review of the games for statistics purposes which is done for every game every week is somehow a personal attack against Manning.

A ****** off Peyton...lol.  Please.  Denver will be bounced in their 1st game.

Lame that Denver didn't get the Saturday night game.  I mean, that game would have been played at 6:15 local time in Denver....instead it's 8:15pm local time in NE.  They seriously need to think when making schedules.

The world does not revolve around NE.    I know you might find that hard to believe but it doesn't.

They do think - just not about the things that you want them to think about.

Really?

I didn't look at the NFC games, but I'm sure they are badly scheduled as well.

All i'm saying it that it makes more sense for the Denver game to be played around 5 or 6pm instead of 8pm.

If you're going that route, it doesn't make sense to play night games outdoors in January outside of maybe Florida and SoCal when there's plenty of space for 2 afternoon games, but the networks want what the networks want.

Do you understand "TV ratings"?

If so, you have your answer.

Do the top seeds get a say in when their games are played? Because Denver was 2-3 in night games this season, so if they had a choice, that would explain the afternoon game.

I don't recall saying it was an attack on Manning. I just said Manning will be ****** if he loses the record, because he easily could have come out and thrown one pass in the 2nd half, if needed.

A - You didn't say it specifically, you just struck a tone similar to a bunch of other stuff I've seen acting like this was some big deal that the NFL was doing this.
B - I think if he really cared that much about the record, he would have kept playing to break it by more than a yard - even if it holds up, it's not going to last very long unless the direction of the league changes dramatically.

TV determines everything.
