Hi,
I have a few questions about the league. My main question is whether it really fits the theme of the league to allow players that did not play on 4 different teams during the 12 seasons that will be used (the example of Tino Martinez was used earlier)? Can you clarify to all players on the forum whether this is allowed or not?
2) Specsman said he would take Tino Martinez but specsman and Tino Martinez are not on the list of teams/journeyman.
3) When twisting players, can you play seasons of a twisted player that precede the journeyman's rookie year?
4) Are twisted players that appear on a team roster of your journeyman during a particular season at baseball-reference website eligible to be on a team or do they also have to be WIS eligible during that same season. Which criteria determines eligibility or must both criteria be met?
I will enter a team but will submit a journeyman pending answers to these questions .
Tino is not eligible, I have already informed specsman of that via sitemail, and no, those players don't fit the criteria.
When twisting a teammate, you can use any WIS eligible season of his, so long as he was on the same team for one game as your Journeyman during the season we are currently in.
BBRef determines eligilibility, if a guy had 1 plate appearance as a teammate of your journeyman in season 1, you can use any season of his career.
Thanks for asking.
