As soon as I get 12 owners, I will select my player and setup the league. I will create a roster check thread in the theme leagues forum and then each owner can post their roster for verification. If everything is good I'll smail the league number out to each owner.

Sorry have to withdraw. I have a 100 mil minimum I guess.Started at 122 mil I trimmed and trimmed still can't get close

No worries dcates...if it's not in your wheelhouse I understand. But at $80 mil the stats should be more realistic and it won't be a HOF caliber team. It makes building more challenging.

I agree...this should be an anti-cookie (read no Joss or other deadballers) dream. It's challenging to put together a roster but by no means impossible and should be a very realistic league...

I will take Matt Stairs for sentimentality reasons --- I still remember his moon shot off Broxton in the 08' NLCS  --- My team the Phillies went on to win the Series that year. It will be another 28 years before we win another the way Amaro runs the club !!!

Agreed. I always like to stay between $80 and $100M. It was definitely more of a challenge when I was building this roster...didn't get the Yaz I wanted, but still got a solid version. It took some tweaks and going back and forth though, for me to get the team I was comfortable with. But that's the fun of it for me...building the team within the challenging parameters.

That said...there are plenty of leagues that are not in my wheelhouse, so totally understandable if someone isn't crazy about a particular theme or rule within the theme.

Looks like we've added a couple though, so that's a plus!

That puts us at 12...SO, I will take my captain. Who better to be captain that a guy known as "Dirty Jack". Should set a good precedent for my team. Jack Doyle it is.

Once I get my team built, I'll start a roster verification thread in the Theme League forum.
