If the players final game was postseason, do we use that postseason game or the final regular season game that is linked from baseball-reference.com?
Good question.  If there is a link to the Final Game on baseball-reference.com, then we should use that.  If there is no link, then we should determine which was the final game, postseason included.

I am checking this list, indeed. Some would believe Don "Dust 'em back" Drysdale and Hoot Gibson otta be here. Knowing their "head hunting" capabilities, I would be definitely intimidated.

Definitely agree, but this list is players post 1970.  First thing I thought was *Where is Bob Gibson?*

Although no Red Sock has worn #21 since his departure, it is a shame that his number will never be included with the Red Sox retired numbers.
