Looking to create a 2014 Theme league season. Cap is 80M. You select a team and can use any player listed on thier current 40 man roster. You can find the teams current 40 man roster in many places, but I will be using mlb.com to verify rosters. You can twist all the players on the teams 40 man roster to any season of his career. I am looking at making this a 16 team league as some of the teams have a hard time filling each position. No WW, DH is AL only, Yes to AAA (average), No Clones and you must use your teams current stadium.

AAA trades only
200K-300K players can be used to fill out roster

League number will be sent after we are half full

You make a good point, I have adjusted the settings to allow average AAA. This could be helpful for teams that are thin at certain positions as well.

How set are you at 80 mil?  Might be a bit low for some teams...especially AL teams with a DH.

80 mil was used so that many teams could compete. There will be 7-10 teams that could probably get a roster up to $100, while the others have a hard time getting up to $80 mil. In addition, real life teams typically have team salaries of $60-$80 mill and I like the idea of getting realistic rosters.

2013 Cardinals and Red Sox for example were at $70M-$73M, while many of the lower tier 2013 teams were around $60M.

I think we could get 24 teams, the Ave AAA should fill in the gaps on most teams, and maybe you could allow trades for AAA only?  If I could build a team with Cardinals and all their "youngsters" then most teams should be ok with AAA
