1 point per win, like regular season. 5 point bonus for making playoffs. 5 point bonus for each playoff series won.

To have a team in first place by 11 games with 35 to go miss the playoffs is absolutely ridiculous.

I had three teams finish 1 game out of the playoffs, one of them losing a divisional tiebreaker.  I'm anticipating that in 48 hours I'll be out of the cage for the first time since this thing started.  Too bad it's only how you finish that counts!

I had 3 teams in first with 35 games to go, two by double digit margins - two missed the playoffs, the third blew a 10 game lead and rebounded to win by 6 games.

The irony: My best team was the 93-win Silver King team, and it was not one of those three in playoff contention.

Here's a fun fact.  At this point in the season, ALL SIX OF MY TEAMS are below their Pythagorean records.  In fact, the average underperformance is a full 78 percentage points behind the Pythagorean win %, or roughly 2.73 games behind where they "should be".

In a tournament of 96 players, one or two owners could be expected to have all six teams underperforming.  And this year... it's me.

Six weeks later, ALL of my teams underperformed their Pythagorean records (a tidy little 1.5% chance).

That was money well spent.... (well, certificates, but you get my point)

Earlier I saw somebody say something about running a theme league for the $80m league for those of us who aren't going to be able to use our round two team because we won't be playing in round two. If that is going to happen I'd like to participate. My round one team is a running joke, but I do believe my round two team would have been better and I'd like to see how it goes, especially after having put so much thought into building the teams.
