Want to build around a core 12-13 seasons of LeBron, LARRY SANDERS! and 74-75 Dr. J, Moses Malone? Or maybe you prefer 84-85 Bird, Dr. J and 87-88 Bird, McHale?

Instead of drafting players or franchises, in this league each team will draft two exclusive seasons (i.e 2012-13 and 1975-76) to select all of their players from. This is a draft league with two rounds. When 24 owners sign-up, we will generate the draft order.

Each season must have a min. of 4 players drafted (with that rule in mind, a max. of 8 players may be drafted from the other season drafted.)

maybe i am slow, what does this mean:

Otherwise, sounds good to me. Could see tweaks to the extent it becomes a 47M Open league (clones allowed, no rookies) with season exclusivety so as to allow multiple MJ's or Lebron's but might be fun to have an exclusive year.  Where would the "2nd" Lebron season get drafted? How many Lebrons total should be drafted?

I'm thinking I didn't do a good enough job explains this...I'll attempt some examples. Thanks for the feedback.

i love the concept

but i dont understand the no scrub rule...whats the point?....itll be hard enough to fit in all the players you want with only 47 mil...with the 1 mil rule you are basically making every team use platoon players with maybe 2/3 full time guys

I wanted to make sure it was different enough. If it's a dealbreaker for others, we can drop the "no scrub" rule. Thanks for the feedback, DH.

Initially, the no scrub rule was set up to avoid every team drafting a more modern era season and a Wilt season.

I think I only need one of the rules to try and "police" that, either no scrubs or the min. 4 players from a drafted season. That was the though process.

i think the min 4 players and the 47 mil cap should be enough to avoid that
