I started this forum for trade talks and the like.

I could use a decent OFer for CF.  I'd like at least  D+/B- that wouldn't embaras himself at the plate.  I have good hitting 1B and 3B that I could deal in return.

Generally I'm ashamed of what I could offer in trade, but I would like to know if others have pitching as bad as mine.

For my team as a whole, these are averages weighted by IP/162, their line is:
ERC# 4.49,  OAV# .282,  WHIP# 1.49,  HR# 0.71,  BB/9# 3.48,  K/9# 3.89

For the 13 pitchers I'm likely to use it's:
ERC# 4.12,  OAV# .265,  WHIP# 1.42,  HR# 0.65,  BB/9# 3.62, K/9# 4.52

I didn't expect much. I'm familiar with the quality of the various levels of AAA. This still seems pretty bad.

I'm still new to the minor league numbers and letters thing.  Could someone decipher them for me or tell me where to find them??

In most leagues, it seems to be pretty hard to trade for a pitcher while giving up an offensively player. How many vetoes does it take to reject a trade?

I'm in the market for a SS.

I just checked the schedule.  By my count, the trade deadline is the 1/29 pm2 game .   That is the  5:30 pm CST Tuesday, January 29th (the last week of January).  If anyone has issue with this trade deadline, let me know.

Remember, since there is no minors transaction date, the trade deadline will be manually enforced.  I'd appreciate everyone's cooperation on this.

I do, but I don't think either is much of an upgrade over what I already have:

1923 Cotton Tierney R 540 0.304/0.345/0.448 of C/C-
1905 Harry Steinfeldt R 455 0.275/0.335/0.393 of D/C
1967 Willie Davis L 610 0.263/0.304/0.377 of C/B+
1906 Homer Smoot L 657 0.261/0.309/0.362 of D+/B+
