Curses!  Had him in my sights with the #6 pick...was shocked he lasted as long as he did.

A nice Round 2 acquisition! 

Only the third time that LA's Piazza was not protected before Round 1, and he was taken in Round 1 the other two times.

I'm sure you're right...catching isn't a big strength for the Blue Jays either.

I assumed he was gone when i left him exposed. Too many choices as Dodgers GM. We'll live without him. Worst case scenario, i finish last again.

I was obviously taking Piazza (almost made the pick early because I 100 percent didn't think rbow would take a batter ever) and I'm not sure where I'm going so this might be a little while.

When I had the Rockies I drafted three pitchers and by far this guy was the best.  I always wondered what he would do outside of Coors.

As I recall, Jimenez is usually protected, so I'm not sure how often there's been the opportunity to draft him.
