I'm assuming that we aren't back on the clock yet so until further notice we can only draft in our turn with no skips. Is that right?

I have been out and am not back and will update the board shortly.  To be fair with anyone who may have tuned out after reading things were on hold, I will change everything by one day.  SO - we are off the clock today and back on the clock tomorrow (Thursday).  Of course, picking may continue.  Thank you for your patience.  I have a meeting in 12 minutes, shouldn't last long.

I assume we can "skip" besterateam though, since he said we could skip him, and now that he made two picks, he would only be "one" pick behind if we skip him today.  Otherwise, essentially no more picks would get made,

OK, I am back in action.  One thing I hate in a commissioner is when they say one thing, change their mind and do another.  It makes for a bad commissioner.  So, I stand by my recent post.  We are off the clock today which means no skipping today.  We'll be on the clock tomorrow.  For future clarity, as we get deeper into the draft, the missed drafts picks will increase.  Once we finish 16 rounds, I will not stop the draft again, no matter how many picks a person is missing.

Before I took Abreu in the last round, I really wanted to pull the trigger and take Burkett. He has terrific value in multiple seasons. The only thing that stopped me from taking him is my fear that I couldn't fit him under all the salary caps. Even at $120M it would have been tight with my other picks. Still, I think he's a great choice, especially for this late in the draft.

Financially, Mize worked better for me and was my pick, until he was selected right in front of me.  Frobinson is nice consolation, though ...
