Jesus cared for the poor. Conservatives can't tolerate that.
Jesus supported Religious based charity, which the left hates.

Jesus opposed Government based programs, which the left loves.

How about Romney wanting a constitutional amendment that the president must have three years business to be president. Guess that doesn't apply to his VP pick.
Ryan is lacking in real world job experience...he of course has more than Obama.

To be fair though almost everyone has more real world work experience than Obama!

So instead of boring, old white guy, Romney picked boring, young white guy.

He knew he's losing badly so he had to go bold, and by doing it he might end up losing the Repubs the House, with his doubling down on tax cuts for the rich and ******* over everyone else with the Ryan Plan now center stage.

A good move would've been Rubio, who actually has a personality, and can possibility help capture a few hispanic votes.
Jindal was the Hail Mary.

Ryan is a solid pick.

The numbers are so close Romney didnt need to go to the bomb. He can just run this up the gut and win.

Yeah, that whole "being President" thing doesn't count for much. The funny part, though, is swamp talking about the "real world," as if he is at all familiar with it.
Of course we were refering to jobs not related to the Government.

1 The crash was a normal part of a free capitalist society. The reason it is still going on is Obama's Euro-Socialism.

2 He would lower taxes on everyone and get people back to work.

3 He would cut unworking programs and replace them with something that works.

4 Economics is ending Medicare as we know it. He is trying to save a form of the program.

5 He was part of a bill that would label life as starting at fertilization, so some day after forms of birth control would be illegal. He believes in a very pro-life position. Almost all forms of birth control would not be impacted in ANY WAY.

Peggy please. You are not paying attention. All you do is quote right wing spin. How can anyone have a serious debate on issues with you when all you do is repeat the lies of the right wing?

It isnt spin, its the truth.

The left gets its propoganda spouted out on the news every night.

It just isnt true.

Dont just put a label on me, engage me and talk issues.

Dems use the teachings of Jesus to help their fellow man.

Repubs use God in order to send our troops off to die.
So when did the Dems ever use the teachings of Jesus to do anything. They are the thrust of the secular movement in America.

When exactly did the Repubs use God to start a war. I think you are confusing the Republicans with King Richard.

Fantastic comeback.  It might have worked except for the fact that he is talking about Obama's experience pre-Presidency.  He was the least qualified major party candidate since the 1800's.  And by nominating him, the Dems forever gave up the "he isn't qualified/doesn't have enough experience" argument.

A New York Times editorial points out how Ryan’s “callousness” has now been added to the GOP ticket aka Willard Romney’s “squishy” campaign, and it doesn’t mince words.

Mr. Ryan has drawn a blueprint of a government that will be absent when people need it the most. It will not be there when the unemployed need job training, or when a struggling student needs help to get into college. It will not be there when a miner needs more than a hardhat for protection, or when a city is unable to replace a crumbling bridge.

And it will be silent when the elderly cannot keep up with the costs of M.R.I.’s or prescription medicines, or when the poor and uninsured become increasingly sick through lack of preventive careThese cuts are so severe that the nation’s Catholic bishops raised their voices in protest at the shredding of the nation’s moral obligations. [...]

All of this will be accompanied, of course, by even greater tax giveaways to the rich, and extravagant benefits to powerful military contractors. Business leaders will be granted their wish for severely diminished watchdogs over the environment, mine safety and food quality.

The New York Times doesnt like Romney's pick.

Now that is a surprise.
