What happened to Valverde. He was never really that dominating, but to suddenly not be able to pitch at all seems odd.

i rem when the Ducks played Okie State in the whattayacallit bowl a few years back and the Migh T Boones got out to a early lead but the ducks defense kept on hammering and by the middle of the 2nd half all their receivers were short arming it
